Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Parties R4U! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and the services we provide. By accessing this website and utilizing our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use www.partiesr4u.com if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Definitions
  • "We," "us," or "our" refer to Parties R4U

  • "You" refers to the user or visitor of our website and services.

  • "Services" include but are not limited to the rental of event equipment and accessories.

2. Use of Services
  • You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • You agree not to use our services to infringe upon the rights of others or to engage in any activity that may cause harm to others.

3. Bookings and Orders
  • Booking requests are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • By placing a booking request, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

  • For rentals, a signed rental agreement along with your non-refundable rental fee paid in full is required for us to save your date. The damage deposit is to be paid upon pickup of the rental. Security deposits are required to be paid upon rental booking for deliveries. 

  • A signed event decor agreement along with a 50% non-refundable retainer of your total invoice is required for us to save your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event date and confirmation from us. 

  • If your event is taking place within 14 days of it being booked, the total cost is due at the time booking in order for it to be confirmed.

  • Once the event décor contract or rental contract is signed and your event date is reserved, we will decline any requests from other potential clients on your date and time.

4. Florals
  • Due to the seasonal availability of flowers, certain flowers may be unavailable. 

  • We reserve the right to substitute specific flowers with alternatives of equal value, while remaining within the scope of your original selection’s style, shape and colour. This is due to the seasonal availability of flowers.

  • The final floral arrangement may vary slightly from the images seen on our website due to the art of arranging florals, and the availability of the flowers. 

  • If you have any specific preferences or concerns regarding substitutions, please feel free to contact us for assistance

5. Payment
  • We accept various payment methods, as specified on our website

  • Payment for products is due in full upon ordering unless otherwise stated.

  • Payment for rentals is due in full upon signing the rental contract. 

  • Payment for event décor setup is only considered booked when a 50% non-refundable retainer of your invoice is paid to us and the event décor contract is signed. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event date. 

  • We accept payment through credit card or e-transfer.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice, but once a booking is confirmed, the price is locked in.

6. Late Fees
  • For items that are picked up and dropped off at our location for rental, we charge an additional fee of $5 per hour if you do not pick up/drop off the item within 1 hour of the agreed time listed in the rental agreement. This will be deducted from your security deposit. 

  • For delivery or setup we charge an additional fee if we are required to wait an excess of 30 mins or more to set up or pick up at the rate of $50.00 per 1/2hr. This will be deducted from your security deposit.   

  • You agree to pay and reimburse any charges incurred due to but not limited to damaged props and rentals.

  • Late night pick-up fees may apply for event with an end time later than 11:30 PM.

7. Delivery
  • We offer delivery services to specified areas in Simcoe, Ontario. Delivery charges and timeframes are outlined on our website.

  • We cannot guarantee specific delivery times especially during observed holidays or due to unforeseen circumstances.

8. Security Deposits
  • Security deposits are required to be paid upon rental booking for deliveries. 

  • Security deposits for rental items that are picked up can be paid upon pickup of the item. 

  • No items are rented without a security deposit. The security deposit is fully refunded to you when the item is returned in the original condition it was rented, unless a late fee deduction applies.  Should the item be damaged upon return to us, the security deposit will not be refunded to you. 

9. Deposits, Cancellation and Refunds
  • Event Decor

    • For event décor setups, the 50% event decor deposit is non refundable. For event décor, any cancellations made more than 14 days prior your event will receive a refund minus the non-refundable deposit. The deposit will then get a one-time courtesy transfer to another date pending our availability. For cancellations made 14 days or less prior to your event, you will be charged the full invoice price. No additional refund will be given if the event is cancelled due to weather or other circumstances out of our control. 

  • Rentals

    • For rentals, the full rental payment that is due upon booking is non-refundable. Any cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the rental time will receive a credit towards future services with us. Any cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental time will not receive any credits or refunds. 

  • Products

    • For products, all changes and updates to your order should be made by emailing us at parties.r4u@gmail.com within one hour of placing the order. We are unable to process cancellations for any order that we have already started. Please double check all the information in your order when you place it. We will make every effort, but change requests are not guaranteed

  • Orders placed with incomplete delivery information will be held until delivery information has been sent to us. In the event that the delivery date selected is no longer available your order will be moved to the next available delivery date and time.. Incomplete orders cannot be refunded. If you do not wish for your order to be fulfilled on the next available delivery date we will issue a credit for a future purchase.

  • If you received damaged flowers or other damaged products:

    • Please take a photo of the product and email the photo, along with your name, and the nature of the issue to parties.r4u@gmail.com

    • Quality complaints and/or deficiencies must be received within 30 minutes following delivery, due to the perishable nature of our products.

    • Once damage is confirmed, we will be happy to re-send a new product at our expense, or issue a credit towards our future services. Please note that due to perishable nature of our product no refunds will be issued. 

  • We reserve the right to cancel bookings, rentals or orders in the event of unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided to you.

10. Liability
  • Parties R4U will not be liable in any way for personal injuries or damage to your property, your guests, invitees, agents, employees, contractors or any other person and except for such injuries or damages as are caused by the gross negligence of Parties R4U in the performance of the services contracted above.

  • In any event, the liability of Parties R4U shall not exceed the contract price, and it is expressly agreed that Parties R4U shall in no event be liable for special, indirect or consequential damages. 

  • You acknowledge and agree that you bear full and complete responsibility for any damages and losses incurred by the yourself, representatives and guests during the event and further agree to pay the full replacement value determined by Parties R4Ufor such damage or loss. 

  • In the event that rental items are missing, broken or removed by guests, you will be liable for the replacement value of missing items in addition to the original rental fees. You agree to defend, indemnify, assume liability for and hold Parties R4U harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, suits, proceedings, penalties, expenses or other liabilities including attorney fees and court costs, arising out of or resulting from the performance of this contract, regardless of the basis (except for gross negligence on the part of Parties R4U).

11. Intellectual Property
  • All content on this website, including but not limited to images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Parties R4U and is protected by copyright laws.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from this website without our prior written consent.

12. Governing Law
  • These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

13. Changes to Terms and Conditions
  • We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this website. It is your responsibility to review these terms and conditions periodically for updates.

By using our website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website or services.
